Siswan forest range is a major ecotourism area which consists Leopard safari and forest trek. There are theatre plays in the city.
Race Across America qualifier Shivalik Signature 2018, a 615 km long cycling race event was held in New Chandigarh. Also there is 38000 capacity Mullanpur International Cricket Stadium under construction.
New Chandigarh is connected to Chandigarh Airport via airport road through Sunny Enclave. This four lane road will connect the city with Mohali. Real estate developer Omaxe Limited owned by Rohtas Goel is so upbeat about New Chandigarh that they have acquired and are developing 1000 acres here .
